If you play the famous French game ‘’Pétanque’’ (Pay-Tonk)? Occasionally, a measure must be taken to satisfy the players. There are various measuring devices on the market such as a Steel Measuring Tape, Inside Calipers, Telescopic Measurer, Tab Ruler etc. All requires bending down and or kneeling.
Verdi-X viewer is easy to use and is as accurate as any Measuring Device.
Verdi-X viewer eliminates all controversy. You are able to view several balls within a radius of 30''
and it takes only 5 to 10 seconds to determine who is the winner.
*No contact with the balls or jack (cochonnet).

Step 1, 2, 3
Use any compact digital camera, having a LCD screen 2.7’’ or creater. (Mobile Phone or iPods can also be used.)
1- While standing, and viewing the ground zone, you simply position
the AF frame over the jack (cochonnet).
( No need to be directly centered).
2- Take the picture.
3- Review the picture while placing the Verdi-X viewer over the LCD
screen and centering it over the cochonnet in the picture. You are
now able to determine which ball is the closest. Its that simple!*When you are faced with two balls (boules) practically touching the jack. You simply review the picture (step 3) and use the ‘’digital zoom’’ to determine which ball (boule) is the closest to the jack (cochonnet).
